Michael founded PFE and runs this fundraising event for Connecticut Invention Convention where he has served on the board of directors for the past 5 years.  Since its founding over a $440,000 has been raised for teaching students from low income neighborhoods about innovation and entrepreneurship.

The vision for Push for Entrepreneurship is my combined passion to: 

1.) Energize people to exceed their self-imposed limitations (and do the “impossible”);
1.) Level the playing field for low income neighborhoods to access the best in innovation education; and
3.) Cultivate and celebrate innovation.

Michael Carter is the founder and Managing Partner of Carter Morse & Goodrich, a merger and acquisition firm based in Southport, CT,  where he serves as Managing Partner.
 

Nick Briere is the Executive Director of the Connecticut Invention Convention, a K-12 invention education non-profit supported by Push For Entrepreneurship. Nick has been involved in Invention Convention since 1999, when he was a first-year inventor in the program. Nick is responsible for overseeing all operations of the Connecticut Invention Convention, ensuring the program continues to grow and serve communities in greatest need of innovation education. Beyond his work at the Connecticut Invention Convention, Nick serves on a variety of Advisory Boards, including New England Invents, OceanCrest Ventures, Torbu, and the Soderstrom Fund. Nick has a degree in English and Economics from Duke University and lives in Storrs, Connecticut with his wife Celeste. 

As Associate Director of Community Partnerships at Connecticut Invention Convention (CIC), Doron oversees the development and implementation of educational programs that foster creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Any problems with registering as a Participant in 2024 go to Doron. He is totally committed to PFE and to the students we are educating. 

Kerry supports both the Connecticut and Massachusetts Invention Convention programs. Her primary role is to support the thousands of inventors and educators that participate in Invention Convention as part of their school-based program. Kerry also heads up planning for the annual Connecticut finals event, where top inventors from across the state showcase their innovative ideas. 

Kerry is passionate about STEM and student innovation. A health enthusiast herself, Kerry enjoys yoga and spending time outside with her husband and three active boys. 

As the owner of Rise Marketing Co., Kimberly is passionate about empowering businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive.

Kimberly takes great pleasure in contributing to Push for Entrepreneurship's marketing efforts, using her skills to amplify the organization's impact and support the success of its entrepreneurs.

A true advocate for both fitness and entrepreneurship, Kimberly sees Push for Entrepreneurship as the perfect blend of her passions. I

In her free time you can find her in the gym or on the lake. 

My name is Khadar Abdilaahi, and I am a junior at Fairfield University. As the responsible student outreach coordinator for Push for Entrepreneurship (PFE), I joined the team because the values of PFE resonated deeply with me. I believe every child should get a chance to showcase their entrepreneurial gifts, and I am committed to  helping the team raise funds for underprivileged student entrepreneurs
