Push For Entrepreneurship: Big Impact in Innovation

Welcome to Push For Entrepreneurship

All funds raised by the Push For Entrepreneurship event will be donated to the Connecticut Invention Convention, a 501c(3) charity supporting more than 12,000 young inventors in the state. In particular, funds will be allocated to support underserved students, bringing them the free Invention Convention program and training their educators to begin their invention journey.

The Connecticut Invention Convention brought 12,000 students through full length Invention Convention programs, with over 400 students competing in State Finals.

The Connecticut Invention Convention was supported by nearly 1,000 volunteers as it deployed its programs across the state, including dozens across The University of Connecticut brands

This year, 35% of CIC inventors self-identified as inventors of color, 57% self-identified as female, and 92% came from lower-income areas of the state.
