All funds raised by the Push For Entrepreneurship event will be donated to the NextMinds (formerly the Connecticut Invention Convention), a 501c(3) charity supporting more than 10,000 young inventors in the state. In particular, funds will be allocated to support underserved students, bringing them the free Invention Convention program and training their educators to begin their invention journey.
It took the SP500 thirty years to grow 10,000%. It took us ten!
NextMinds (formerly the Connecticut Invention Convention) brought 10,000 students through full length Invention Convention programs, with over 500 students competing across the Connecticut and Massachusetts State Finals.
The Connecticut Invention Convention trained or supported 500 educators / facilitators as they brought the programs to students across the state.
The Connecticut Invention Convention was supported by nearly 750 volunteers as it deployed its programs across the state, including dozens across The University of Connecticut brands
This year, 83% of innovators served by NextMinds represent communities or demographics that are historically underrepresented in STEM.
The Connecticut Invention Convention brought programs to more than 4,000 low-income students in Connecticut through the funds raised by Push For Entrepreneurship.
The Connecticut Invention Convention brought its programs to nearly 30 underserved schools through the funds raised by Push For Entrepreneurship.
As a result of the funds raised by Push For Entrepreneurship, the Connecticut Invention Convention was able to hire an team member dedicated to supporting in-need communities.

Help support low income inventors as they realize their potential and passion. Donations are tax deductible, can be made at any time, and do not require active participation in the in-person Push For Entrepreneurship annual event at Fairfield University!
