All funds raised by the Push For Entrepreneurship event will be donated to the Connecticut Invention Convention, a 501c(3) charity supporting more than 6,000 young inventors in the state. In particular, funds will be allocated to support underserved students in the Greater Bridgeport area, bringing them the free Invention Convention program, training their educators, and providing free school supplies to begin their invention journey. The Connecticut Invention Convention brought 6,500 students through full length Invention Convention programs, with 561 students competing at its State Finals event.

This year, 34% of CIC inventors self-identified as inventors of color, 58% self-identified as female, and 33% came from below-median-income areas of the state.
